This community event will provide a unique preview of new and exciting Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), Florida State University (FSU) and Tallahassee Community College (TCC) inventions, discoveries, and innovations making their way into the world. This event is hosted by the FAMU Division of Research, FSU Office of Research and Tallahassee Community College.

* Don’t miss the 6:30 p.m. main tent event where FSU’s Flying High Circus will dazzle the audience with a special performance and famed NASA speaker Kurt Leucht will exercise imaginations as he discusses how humanity will continue its exploration of space.


Discovery on Parade will feature:

  • Wall-to-wall exhibits showcasing FAMU, FSU and TCC research and creative works making their way into the commercial market
  • Information on new and existing companies created through FAMU, FSU and TCC research endeavors
  • Live technology demonstrations by FAMU, FSU and TCC researchers and their students
  • Creative performances that showcase the amazing talent found within FAMU, FSU and TCC

Parking for the event is available for all attendees in the adjacent 5-story garage. At or after 5pm, the garage is open to all visitors and you will not be required to have a student or faculty/staff permit. Please note that the 4th floor of the garage is adjacent to the 1st floor of the Turnbull Center.
